 FERRY TO AND FROM BARMOUTH

The short trip across the harbour allows you to either start your journey from Barmouth, or to extend your ride from Fairbourne into Barmouth itself.


The ferry offers superb views of the Afon Mawddach estuary and the truly magnificent mountains.


Weather permitting, the ferry operates on days when the Fairbourne trains are running between Easter and the end of October.


Pick up Barmouth on ferry steps next to public toilets on the harbour.

Fairbourne village is located halfway between Tywyn and Dolgellau.
