Rowen Centre
The indoor Rowen Centre (named after Fairbourne Beach's original name Ro-Wen) contains a large G-Scale model railway, a fish-filled freshwater stream, chipmunks and ferrets.
For 2009 the G-Scale Railway branch line was extended and a new GN15 scale quarry siding introduced.
The former lobster enclosure was removed to allow a viewing window from the Cafe to be installed. The barn owls have moved to the Borth's Animalarium (http://www.animalarium.co.uk/) where they are now breeding. This has allowed the ferrets to be moved into a much larger, and more stimulating, enclosure which was refurbished over the winter months.
G-Scale Railway sets from LGB and Piko are on sale in the Gift Shop.
